All train on Sunday's at 11:45am to 12:45pm.

Mites League is a cross ice development grade for 4-7 year old boys and girls.

EQUIPMENT

We provide all equipment needed including skates on a loan basis until you are ready to purchase your own equipment and skates. Each skater is required to wear hockey gear when on the ice.

COACHING

The ice rink and club provide a coach to assist the skaters

FEE

The cost is paid at the door and includes all the equipment, skates, 60min on ice coaching.

Skate School

Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink offers a learn to skate program which is the best way to help all players of any age with the skills needed to be able to skate.

Hockey Development

WHEN

Saturday at 12:30pm to 1:45pm

EQUIPMENT

LEVEL & AGE

From beginner to intermediate ages 8 years to adult.

Want to Join a Team?

TRAIN WITH A TEAM

Join our team training as a development player. This is a great way to build skills and find out more about playing hockey. To build skills, you will probably also need to be attending learn-to-play or hockey development. Skate school is another great way to build skating skills. Again, email us!

 

PLAY ON A TEAM

We have teams for all age groups.

Details about our Mites team is above. Other details are on the “Teams” page.

Try-outs are usually held in February each year. Dates and times will be on our facebook page

Scrimmage

We do have scrimmage from time to time, along with social games.  Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for announcements.  

Hockey Equipment Guide

Equipment for the Learn to play session on Sunday mornings can be provided.

Arrive early so you can be dressed and ready to take the ice.
